We have another fundraising opportunity for NCPA clubs/teams. This time no travel and no CO2, so much easier than the Wal Mart one from last year.

Everything you need will be provided, just looking for schools to find spots to set up a small shooting booth near major events (particularly sporting events).

If your team is interested in playing Class A, please e-mail us, ncpa@ncpapaintball.com, with the following information:

The sooner we hear from you the sooner we can put together conferences, but please send your school’s response no later September 13, 2012 at 12 PM EST.

The conference season entry fee remains the same as last year at $3,800, including entry to the National Championship tournament.

11th Annual Collegiate World Cup
October 27-28, Lakeland, FL
Don’t miss your chance to play College Class A at the PSP World Cup! Collegiate World Cup is the longest-running XBall tournament in the world.

Entry is open to all teams. Play on Saturday and Sunday. Entry fee is $1,900. Top team wins entry and a BYE into the National Championships Playoffs, with an additional entry fee and spot to be awarded with 6 or more teams competing.

As a bonus, we’ll be interviewing players for the PSP webcast! Don’t miss your chance to represent your school!
Jersey Requirements Change – Friendly Reminder
Jersey Padding Prohibited
As a reminder, as announced September 2011, starting this season padding in jerseys is not permitted at NCPA events. Make sure your players are aware of this rule and have a non-padded jersey available for playing in. 2012 NCPA Layouts
Just like last year, we will be releasing several NCPA-specific layouts in the upcoming weeks! Keep an eye on our Official Layouts page for them!

The rulebook will be updated to include an official field size of 120 feet wide by 150 feet long. Additionally, events should use one of the official NCPA layouts when a suitable bunker set is available. Exception: Events may use a PSP layout on PSP dimensions if PSP has released a layout for the next PSP event.

Marketing Manager

Empire Paintball is a leading paintball manufacturer and distributor of paintball equipment, apparel and paintballs. We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to oversee all aspects of the Marketing including: advertising, direct mail, public relations, promotions, and consumer websites and cross promotions Empire, Empire Battle Tested, and JT Paintball.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager located in the Sewell, NJ facility.  This is a salary, exempt position DOE.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2-3 years experience in general solicitation category, with emphasis in online, print, media, and advertising

• Advanced in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage projects with internal and external customers

• Strong, positive attitude and work ethic desired.

• General understanding of paintball industry preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Create, manage and track annual advertising and marketing operating plan budget

• Create and deliver advertising, marketing collateral, promotions and direct mail copy

• Develop and write creative briefs and provide creative direction for marketing materials and programs including: advertisements, in-store collateral, tournament and direct mail pieces

• Edit, write and assign editorial content for consumer websites, print media, product information, online media and catalog listings to ensure consistent tone, voice and message

• Direct and supervise the development and implementation of editorial calendar, media lists, convention and event calendar

• Work with organization to determine means and methods for new player acquisitions

• Maintain media relationships and oversee public relations efforts to garner additional brand awareness and product exposure

• Research, initiate and generate incremental revenue opportunities through targeted cross promotions and marketing programs

• Plan, purchase and coordinate all print, advertising, broadcast and web media
