Are all players FULL TIME students at your school?

As a friendly reminder, all students competing in the NCPA must be eligible students! Ineligible students will not be allowed to play, and any team found playing with ineligible players will be disqualified and face further sanctions.

High school players must be enrolled in the same high school, or must meet one of a few limited exceptions. More High School Eligibility Information

College players must be admitted degree-seeking full-time students at the same school, however students in some limited circumstances may apply for a waiver of the full-time requirement.  ALL WAIVERS MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE IN WRITING BY THE NCPA.

If you are not a full-time student this semester and you believe you qualify for one of these exceptions, you may apply for an eligibility waiver.

Save Your Team Hundreds!

Class A: Class A teams must have matching NCPA-approved jerseys including each player’s name and number and present them at team check-in.  There is a $500 fee if a Class A team does not have approved jerseys.  NCPA Jersey Requirements

Class AA: The Class AA entry fee is $900 – but your team can waive the remaining $300 of your entry fee with up to three fee waivers worth $100 each:1) Profile Waiver:  Complete your team and each player profile, including player photo and Player Information (in the Edit Profile tab of your APPA Player Profile.)
2) Jersey Waiver: Have matching team jerseys meeting the NCPA Jersey Requirements
3) Publicity Waiver:  Bring a front-page school newspaper article mentioning the 2015 National Championships.  One article is good for all lines from the same school.Remember, the entry fee that your school has paid assumes that your school will have all three waivers.  The remaining entry fee for any unmet waivers will be collected at registration.  Publicity waivers may be earned after the event and the $100 will be refunded to the original form of payment.High School: Each player MUST bring proof of eligibility, preferably a photo student ID card or a copy of the player’s yearbook with a photo of the player.  Other forms of eligibility documentation should be cleared with the NCPA in advance by emailing ncpa@college-paintball.com.

Volunteer now!
Last week we sent out a notice seeking volunteers for the 2015-2016 season for the NCPA Board of Directors.  Thus far we’ve had a good response!  If you would like to run for a position on the Board of Directors please let us know by Friday, April 10.  We’re especially still looking for directors from a few regions: North (Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming), West (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington), and an At-Large position. If necessary, elections for contested positions will be held from April 11 to 24.Please consider volunteering! Send an e-mail to elections@ncpapaintball.com to volunteer today and be the voice of your region.

Don’t bring them!
At Nationals this year, we WILL BE ACTIVELY ENFORCING air tank hydrostatic test dates.  Any tank found to be outside of it’s hydro date will be confiscated, the player WILL BE FINED $100, and the player will be immediately suspended until the fine is paid.  There will be no exceptions to this policy – it’s here for your safety and ours.
